More from the boys!

I finally got a picture of the boys at 3 months. It is not the "official" one but it will have to do for now.

We have been busy. At the end of January, the boys and I went to visit St. Peter's School. Of course, when I walk in with the huge double stroller - the second graders (my second class of Kindergarteners) were taking a bathroom break and swarmed us. It was so nice to see all of them. I took them to visit the office and then to the teacher's lunch room to meet everyone. They slept the entire time...but I wasn't complaining! Everyone got to meet them and I got to see all of my teacher friends! It was great. I also saw a few parents from last year. It was so great to see everyone.

Ryne sleeping with his lovie....this is really how he fell asleep.

Ryne holding his keys.
We have had a few visitors also. Our friend Michelle came by. Teri and Ethan visited. Our latest visitor was Stacey (who I have known since Kindergarten and recently reconnected with via FaceBook) and her son Tyler. Tyler is about 6 weeks older than Jack and Ryne so hopefully they will be friends when they grow up. It was great talking to Stacey and getting caught up on everything. So, anyone who wants to come by - just let me know!

Jack being a cheese (again).

And again....Ohhh...Jack Jack!

3 months!

The boys are three months old. They are getting big. Ryne has been sleeping in his crib for awhile now. Our big news is that Jack has been sleeping in his crib for almost a full week! They can no longer sleep in the same crib - they both move around too much and Ryne is learning how to roll.

I haven't taken their three month picture yet - they are both fighting something off. Jack has a little respiratory thing going through his system and I think that Ryne just has a little cold. Anyway, I freaked out yesterday because they were getting sick well after eating and we went to the doctor. The nurse weighed them - Jack is 13 pounds and Ryne is 12 pounds 8 ounces. I could not believe that they weigh that much! So, I guess that they have successfully doubled their birth weight!
Ryne and Jack are both making their baby noises - they love to talk! Jack talks to his Cubs mobile - it has little bears on it. Ryne just likes to talk to whatever.

Chris and I are doing well. We actually got to go out last Friday night to Chicago (for Chris's work party). It was nice to be around adults. Nana watched the boys over night for us. She had a great time. I don't think that she slept much because of all of their baby noises and stuff but she told me that she loved it. It was really hard being away from them. I did enjoy the night of sleep although I woke up a few times.
